Zero Waste Info for
UO Faculty and Students

The University of Oregon is a nationally recognized leader in college campus recycling thanks to the University of Oregon faculty, staff, students and administration. What started as a grassroots effort has grown into a model for other college and university programs. The Program owes its leadership position and continued development to all of the valuable input it has received from the campus community over the past 20 years.

Waste reduction and recycling are important individual actions that greatly reduce our community and global impacts while conserving our precious resources, reducing greenhouse gasses and creating family wage jobs. Every effort helps!

This section is simple and is intended for on-campus recyclers.
